Since at least 1988, various ‘Weatherfield Police Station’ sets have been dotted across the Granada TV Centre site. The ‘custody desk’ sign (photographed below and previously found inside Granada Television’s Bonded Warehouse) is possibly an early remnant of one of these sets. The other photos show the police front desk and custody suite sets (both introduced in 2010) located in the Granada TV Centre old audience entrance and inside the ‘Underworld’ building on the Lot. The final photo shows what is signposted as a ‘video investigation room’ but is actually a costume room on the upper floor of Corrie’s terraced houses!
